    Huge Disappointment!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 9, 2009

    Pros: looks great

    Cons: everything else!

We bought this in September for my son's bday. We wanted a ride on toy that wasn't plastered with cartoon characters and looked more like a "real" quad. It ran very slow and had almost no traction. My husband put rubber tire treads ...on one of the wheels and it got better traction, but still ran really slow. The battery eventually stopped working. We special ordered a new one. It still ran really slow - then needed a fuse replaced. Finally, my husband hooked up a 12 volt battery to it. My son rode it for about 45 minutes non-stop before the battery overpowered the machinery and he stripped the gears. Those 45 minutes were the most fun my son had withi his toy. Don't buy it. It was a waste of money and a huge disappointment for my son. Read more Less

    Pros: has cool sounds effects

    Cons: everything

I got this for my son for Christmas just 5 months ago. At first he liked it, then when it got warm enough to take it outside the stupid thing will not go on the grass because it only pulls with one back wheel. That is not the half of it though now th...e crazy thing has started going by itself. There will be no one around and the thing just takes off by itself. My son is now scared of it. It was a total waste of money! Read more Less
