    Get the Unrated Version!!!

    Pros: Great Film - A Breakthrough for Mexican Film

    Cons: R-Rated version cuts the international release

    A wonderful road movie. Just make sure you get the whole thing. Buy the unrated version.

    Life Story

    This film has truly made a great change in the way I look at life. As a Filipino, it was easy for me to relate for Mexican culture is not far from my own culture (except for the language). I admire the way Cuaron put in different socio-political, cu...ltural as well as traditonal ways of the settingt place. The night I watched this movie (at the film center of the philippines), i really couldn't sleep. I remembered a lot of my life's implicit memory. Carried on with great cinematography and consistent acting, I was surprised of myself for I did not know how to react--if I was going to cry or laugh or sigh. It was so puzzling; my life stagnated for a moment. It was a moment I did not think of the future. Instead, it was a moment I reminisced my past. I got caught in the spell of the extra-ordinary performances of the three main actors. Gael and Diego was superb.I can say that of all films I've watched, this is one of those I did not have a second to predict a scene. Especially the kissing scene of Tenoch and Julio. Y Tu Mama Tambien is truly unpredictable. I can say that this is the film that tops the list of my must-not-forget-films. Lav ya Gael!!!!! Read more Less
