Pros: great graphics and allot of fun

Cons: too much money

the xbox 360 is overall a great gaming system,but is too pricey. I've played it before and would like to have one,but again is too expensive. I would buy it if it was around $150 or less.

Pros: Great when new. Graphics. Sound. Xbox Live.

Cons: Overheats. Freezes. Burns Disks. (RROD)

All in all its just a great system. I dont have $500bucks to upgrade to the [[Elite System]]. Owned three 360's within 3yrs. So I finally purchased a repair guided, stricktly for the 360. I was a ps guy an i made the switch to xbox 360 elite an let me tell when i first turn it on it sound like a F*** airplane takeing off. The online play is ok but if you for get to pay your account they will lock you out an you wounld have to call which is a pain in the a** lord knows at 3:00 in the moring!!!!Now my xbox 360 which is a year old an I have red ligths on an i can't play any more. I call xbox about this an they told me I had to pay $90.00 because the wartty just went out an it wounld take about a mouth to get another one...You guys can have the xbox 360 I am going to get a ps3 at lease it will last 3yrs or better an free online play.........

If your are reading this...Do a search on the RED RINGS OF DEATH xbox360. Xbox 360 still have a hardware problem with their system. Most xbox360 owners know what I'm writing about. Yes they will fix it for free and takes about 3 weeks to fix but you will have to go throught the pain and suffering. They (Microsoft) say that they have a 3% failure rate but truth be told more like 30 - 40 percent failure. If I'd have to do over I would buy a different game system.

Cons: Microsoft in general, customer service sucks. I'm waiting for my third xbox to die.

I am on my third xbox and they keep replacing my unit but I didn't sign up for this cycle of fustration. Customer service is the worst and I had to argue with them for any type of compensation. I am going to trade in my xbox (while it's working) and get a PS3. I don't believe the PS3 online is as good but that's probably because it's free, and I'm not sure if they carry the same titles but their system seem to actually work. Save your self the time and money and get a PS3 and enjoy the Blueray player (to bad about Hd dvd). Xbox has just lost me as a extremely loyal customer and I am sure the number of gamers switching to PS3 is staggering, they brought it on themselves with horrible customer service.

Pros: Great graphics, Great games, Great everything about the gameplay.

Cons: More likely to break than any other console ive ever seen.

This system had me wanting one the day it came out. When I finally got my xbox it worked great. I loved everything about it and it was so addicting. But soon things began to slow down and I eventually got the 3 red lights after about 6 months or so. (please also note that I bought my xbox AFTER the faulty ones were taken off the market) So right away, I bought a new xbox 360 thinking this would be it. Not but 4 months later my new xbox got the 3 red lights, which by the way was today. Im on my way to buying a new one AGAIN. I'm sure I'll be buying ANOTHER one after this one. So my advice would be to really think about how much its really worth to only play for about a year and then have to buy a new one. All in all the gameplay is great but the design SUCKS.

Pros: You can spend all day on this thing

Cons: additctive-Make sure your wife is understanding or get a divorce.

Xbox live is the greatest thing in the world. You will have no problem spending all weekend without sleeping playing non-stop. The only downside is some of the other players you meet on xbox live get a little consumed. The best way to avoid this is to develop a good friends group and just play with people that dont get wound up so easy.

Hopefully writing this message will help my situation, or at the very least, assist some poor soul in the near future. I am a previous playstation 2 owner. After careful consideration between the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, I decided to go with the cheaper console. Bad decision, hence, "You get what you pay for." After a month of bliss, I was told by a friend that the XBox 360 had several problems and that a new Xbox 360 was coming out in the near future. I told him that Xbox would never do this because 1) they are in a console war with Playstation and the soon to be Wii, which would compromise the trust of consumers and 2) that if there were that many issues the systems would have been recalled, and 3) that it was unethical to do so without some form of compensation to the people who have just purchased the white system. I was proved wrong. After quick research, I found that a new black system was coming out with additional memory, a new cable option, and apparently corrected the issues that the white system (my system) has, such as, overheating problems (which Xbox corrected by pushing the problem on to the consumer to correct by offering an accessory called the intercooler for 19.99 to cool down your system so overheating does not occur to the processor), network problems, the red circle of death (I'm sure some console owners know to what I'm reffering to), screen freezing in the middle of play, no game recognition, and cd door jamming. If I've missed some I apologize, there are many issues. After enjoying a short lived tim on Xbox live, I noticed that my games would start to freeze in the middle of play or that certain disks would receive a disk unreadable error message. I pride myself in keeping pristine games (no scratches) so I knew they were not my disks. Eventually none of my games would play; I kept getting disk unreadable errors. After calling several times to 18004myxbox, (was hung up on several times), I was told that I needed to send in my system for repair. I asked the xbox support person if it was possible if xbox xould just send me the black system. She said this was not possible and that I was being unreasonable. I retorted with, " How do you justify issuing a corrected platform after selling a faulty one for over a year without compensating the consumer?" To which I received no justifiable reply. 2nd time: Insult to injury, I experienced the red ring of death, as mentioned earlier. This is a phenomenon where hitting the power button (whether a disk is in the drive or not) results in a red flashing ring circles the power icon on the console and the screen is pitch black. Again after several hangups, I was told I must send in my xbox yet again.

I bought it souly because my son wanted Halo3, which turned out to be another rip-off like the 2nd one. "1/2 video game, 1/2 movie." Anyways, I've only played it a few hours, and it has locked up on me 4 times. The controller will just cut off in the middle of game play too. Just a sign of things to come I guess. It's too bad that they were not made to take them off the shelf and refund everyone their money for buying them. Of course this is the American marketplace. When have you ever seen a top manufacturer held liable for the s@#t they get away with selling to the public?
