Pro Reviews: World Power
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews This collection includes Snap's biggest hit, "The Power," as well as "Oops Up" (a remake/take off of the Gap Band's nonsensical funk riff "Oops Upside Your Head"). The choppy rhythms of "Cult of Snap" and "Believe the Hype" didn't receive much airplay in the States. Rapper Turbo B has energy but his enunciation leaves a lot to be desired, and the thick British accent doesn't help. Ford's telling vocal and the storyline of "Mary Had a Baby" makes it the most accessible cut on the CD. - Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide |

Pros: Humour, delivery, narrative, mix,
Cons: What cons?
Man it's been a long time since anyone showed Snap! some love! I'm the only one who's stopped by since 1999? LOL! I was impressed with the humour "(How do you feel?" I feel black!"), the delivery, and the voice of Turbo B. The stuff makes me bounce and you I get the lyrics out of my head. Memorable. I was looking around to see where I get could a copy since my cassette tape-yes I still use those- has dissappeared. It was also great how there was not one swear word on this entire album! no "Ho's" no thongs... Yes, it can be done. ...
