    Unknown Gems Shine Best

This album is hands down, one of the best albums ever to be released on TEENBEAT Records. Its style of minimalist pop set to the polished melancholy vocals of Doug Bailey is enough to make you love this album. I found myself listening to it again and... again. It's lovely and upbeat but you can make an emotional connection with it. The Ropers shine best on tracks like Drink You Up; a beautiful song set to bittersweet lyrics. The mellower tune, Home, is also magnificently played and paired with equally captivating vocals. Anyone in need of great music that speaks to the soul while maintaining a need for shoe tapping, NEEDS this album... good luck trying to find it. It's available directly from the label.
