....thought this album would suck. but I was wrong. I saw the video for "The Red" and it was an incredible song, so I got interested into Chevelle. This album has a lot of shouting in it and probably more than their first one (which i just got like a couple months ago). Pete Loeffler and his brothers are amazing at their musical talent. All the songs on this cd are great, but my favorites are Family System, Comfortable Liar, Send The Pain Below, The Red, Wonder What's Next, and Grab Thy Hand.

Pros: One of the best cds I've heard in a while, doesn't sound like other bands

When I first heard this band on the radio, I thought they were one of those bands that had a couple good singles but crap for the rest of the cd. I also thought that they were just one of those good new rock bands. They are not just a new rock band. These guys actually have their own sound that I honestly can say doesn't sound like any other band. The entire cd is not just good, but great. I like to jump around on tracks, with this cd I jump from song to song, but always end up playing them all. I saw them in concert this summer and they're far better than people realize.

Chevelles second cd Wonder Whats next is one of the best cds out right now because of quality music. There is not one bad song on this cd, and get it at a cheap price.

The Red is 1 hell of a song and the rest of the CD is the kinda stuff that i really like. The lead singer sounds like the the lead singer of Tool yet this 1 yells a whole lot more. The bassist in Chevelle is 1 of the best bassists ive ever heard. Now as a recamondation for the band they could put a lead guitarist that plays solo stuff like Metallica. Then they will, for me, be a 10 on this scale that Yahoo! uses

chevelle is one of those bands that has been around for a few years yet nobody has ever heard of, but those who do know them are die hard fans! their first album "point #1" was phenomenal in its simplicity. Now with the release of their 2nd record, they have experimented with alot more haromnies and melodies, and have definately brodend their musically capabilities. this album is A+ work and i highly suggest picking it up. If you like TOOL or Deftones you will most certainly like Chevelle. *(and they are amazing live - so check them out if you get the chance!)
