Inspired by the television show of the same name, Winx Club follows the exploits of a group of supernaturally gifted young women. The game's story line is based on the first season of the animated series. Players take the role of Bloom, a teenage Earth girl who discovers she has magical powers when she helps a fairy defeat a nasty troll in a park near her home.

The game's story line is based on the first season of the animated series. Players take the role of Bloom, a teenage Earth girl who discovers she has magical powers when she helps a fairy defeat a nasty troll in a park near her home.

Soon enough, Bloom finds herself attending a special high school (called Alfea) for magically gifted students, and the leader of a group of similarly talented friends the "Winx Club." The PS2 adventure features social interaction between characters, and an assortment of minigames and collectable items, as players try to foil the evil plans of a group of witches from a rival school. ~ T.J.
