    This movie goes and captures what the spirit of America is all about! Winning! Also it's a movie that will never grow old in the hearts of many sailors; and with it's totally awsome movie photography of yatch racing, it sets a high standard for exce...llence for this kind of photography. It's a movie that all can enjoy timelessly. I hope you like it as much as I did! Go America, in the New Zealand races of the America's Cup! Read more Less

    Wind is the best sailing movie I have ever seen. I love how it integrates awesome and intense sailing scenes with important parts of the design and fundraising processes in the America's Cup. It also does a great job showing some other boats, such a...s I 14s.The love story portion plays out pretty well, also. My bone with wind is its technical 'difficulties'. Buzzards Bay is NOT in Newport, you cannot, under the rules or the laws of physics, have a headsail as large as the Whomper on a 12, you aren't going to move when in irons, regardless of the wind strength, and other various things. Other than these, which can be overlooked, Wind is awesome. Read more Less

    best sailing movie yet

    I think that wind is one of the best sailing movies yet. It has great photography and soundtrack. Everytime i see it want to get in my laser and go sail, although its usualy about 10:00 at night and dead calm. It shows what sailing is all about: raci...ng. However there is one thing about this movie that nobody else has mentioned and it come in the best part of the movie. Right at the end, when the race is realy hot, the boats are beating up wind on a close haule to an upwind finish, they cross the line with the sails in tight. Then in the next scene both boats have up their chutes. That is the only thing in this entire movie that bothers me though. The photagry and music realy grab your attention. Read more Less

    Beautiful

    A nice little sports flick/romantic drama, a tad formulaic but with gorgeous Coppolla-style cinematography of the racing scenes. Makes me want to go sailing every time I watch it.

    Kept looking for movies with Jennifer in it, found this one that had beautiful scenes of sailing. Jennifer did a good job in the movie, wish there were more I could get my hands on.
