I heard "Hold On" from some Internet radio a few months ago and after seeing the great music video for it I rushed out to get the album almost immediately. I'll never regret buying Wilson Phillips' debut. It's no wonder why it s...old ten million copies back then; it could be the best album in music history. All the three number one hits, "Hold On" (the most successful single of 1990), "Release Me" and "You're In Love" (perhaps one of the best singles ever) plus two other hit singles "Impulsive" and "The Dream Is Still Alive" are just the tip of the iceberg because the best songs are the non-single releases; they're so irresistibly awesome that I've played them non-stop for months now ("Next to you (Someday I'll Be) should have been released as a single because it's too good to be just an album cut). Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips are talented singers with wonderful melodies not to mention the distinctive lyrics they've written for this album. Wilson Phillips' debut album is phenomenal; if you like pop music even a little you have to try this because this is it at its best. You won't be disappointed. Read more Less
