    Hauntingly Beautiful and Frightening

    This is one of the best horror films I have ever seen and one of the most hauntingly beautiful as well. The direction, cinematography, and acting are excellent. Exorcist III is much less gory than the original movie and is more of a supernatural thr...iller than a straight horror film. This is a film that you need to have on VHS or DVD so you can watch it over and over to catch all the little details. George C. Scott and Brad Dourif are both wonderful in this film, especially in the scenes they share. There are also several humorous scenes which do well to offset the scenes of terror. Keep an eye out for some very unusual cameos, including margarine spokesman and romance novel cover model, Fabio, as an angel. Read more Less

    Don't watch alone

    It's not as good nor as scary as part one, but it's well worth watching. George C. Scott is very good as the detective. Brad Dourif is chilling as the Gemini Killer. The scenes with Dourif and Scott together in the mental hospital cell are alone wort...h spending a few bucks to rent this movie. Peace. Read more Less

    The best horror movie you will ever see, terrified the hell out of me .. and if you are going to watch this movie, don't watch alone, that's an advice from me .

    Stands alone as a true thriller. Brad Dourif is awsome.

    Exorcist III

    Although loosely tied the original "Exorcist", this movie stands alone. "Exorcist III" is one of the scariest movies that I have ever seen. The very first scene sets the tone for the entire film with an eerie scene in a church. George C. Scott does ...a fine job as Lt. Kinderman. Brad Dourif is excellent in an all too brief role as a psychotic killer. The tension builds until the climactic scene of good vs. evil. Rent this movie and you won't be disappointed. Read more Less
