Will Bradley was a reluctant celebrity. His name became closely associated with boogie-woogie due to the commercial success of "Beat Me Daddy, Eight to the Bar," but he much preferred to play ballads. A technically skilled trombonist, Bradley was a busy studio musician throughout much of his career.
