THE WHOLE TEN YARDS: In hiding in Mexico, hit man Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis) has become a veritable Martha Stewart, cooking and cleaning up a storm. Meanwhile, his new wife Jill (Amanda Peet) is distraught that her own career as an assassin has yet to take off. When Jimmy's ex-wife Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge) is kidnapped by Hungarian mobster Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak), her husband, klutzy dentist Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry) turns to Jimmy for help. Soon, Jimmy, Jill, and Oz are involved in a game of cat and mouse with Lazlo and his men trying to trade Cynthia for Lazlo's dim-witted adult son, whom the trio has kidnapped. But do Jimmy and his ex have a secret that they're not sharing with their spouses? Are their new marriages just an elaborate ruse in order to pull off a huge scam? And will Oz ever see his beautiful wife again? Directed by Howard Deutch (PRETTY IN PINK, SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL), this sequel to THE WHOLE NINE YARDS is filled with quirky characters, amusing banter, and plenty of physical comedy. Pollak is particularly amusing as a master criminal surrounded by an inept team.

STARSKY AND HUTCH: Coming off the heels of his hilarious college romp OLD SCHOOL, director Todd Phillips returns with a film that mocks the television cop dramas of the 1970s. Based on the crime-fighting television series of the same name, STARSKY & HUTCH follows the exploits of two west coast detectives. David Starsky (Ben Stiller) is a by-the-books officer who would like nothing more than to expose his partner Hutch's bouts of inconsistency. Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson (Owen Wilson) is a far more open-minded spirit with a tendency for meandering. Added to the mix is the world's coolest informant, Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg), who wears an endless parade of stylish outfits. Starsky and Hutch's rival is the charming yet brutal Reese Feldman (Vince Vaughn), a maniacal drug lord with an absurd moustache who is prone to dramatic outbursts. Phillips uses freeze frames and slow-motion to up the comic ante, while Stiller and Wilson prove that they are a truly compatible duo, and, finally, Will Ferrell makes yet another scene-stealing cameo--all factors that ensure a long shelf life for this raucous spoof.

THE BIG BOUNCE: Before Tom Clancy made the name Jack Ryan synonymous with Cold War heroics, Ryan O'Neal broke into the movies by portraying a decidedly different Jack Ryan in this lurid drama. O'Neal's Ryan is picking cucumbers when he picks a fight with a Mexican immigrant coworker (Victor Paul). The brutal beating sends Ryan to look for work elsewhere and he lands in roadside motel. Trouble continues to follow the ex-con as both a secretary with a seedy reckless streak (Leigh Taylor-Young) and a troubled, sexy transient (Lee Grant) make plays for the handsome young Ryan. A revelation, this meandering work exudes attitude and boasts a highly unusual score by Mike Curb, who would later become Lieutenant Governor of California.
