    I went to Nebraska this month and i went out to buy this album and i have to say that i really love this album of Natalie's.

    This is one of my best album of the year. It contains Natalie's most powerful works and talent. All of the songs in this album are very worth listening. Each song is filled with amazing voice, superb orchestra, beat, rhythm and most of all pure and s...incere lyrics. It's so much better than her previous one. My fav track would be "talk in tongues"(superb vocal here with a simple and yet solid accoustic background) and "that day"(highly sophisticated mix of instruments,a very Natalie's song). It's a pity somehow that her music is not that popular here compare to Europe or Asia. I think this amazing talent deserve to be place so much higher than she is now.Pop music listener might find her boring but I highly recommended this CD to anyone who has a great taste in music.This album truly delivers what an "A" rated music is.     Natalie Imbruglia was an instant charm with her 1998 debut single, Torn, and expectations for a followup to Left of the Middle were practically immediate. Imbruglia wasn't quick to rush, however. Instead of investing in the quick pop sound she made popular on her first album, she took her time in redefining herself as a songwriter with substance. Four years after becoming an international star, Imbruglia emerged with her finest work to date with White Lilies Island. It's a record that breathes something pure, and one can sense that she has complete control, lyrically and musically. Her spiritual and emotional connection remains the same, and White Lilies Island is her reflection of the reinvention. "Wrong Impression" is sweet with its twangy guitar riffs, and Imbruglia's softness is deceiving. She's quite dark, and challenges typical notions of love and acceptance. "Beauty on the Fire" and the heavy romance of "Do You Love" continue the fight. "That Day" and "Sunlight" are strikingly e...dgy, and Imbruglia's simplicity and energy are intoxicating. She couldn't have rushed this album. Imbruglia has made a brilliant pop record contemporary, yet timeless.
