A great Christmas Film
Pros: The dances are better than Dancing With the Stars!
Cons: Corny at times.
I LOVE this movie more than anything! I have to say, I love a good old fashioned musical, but this is a spectacular musical. It is set around a Vaudville team formed during the war. But it becomes a wonderful love story and a story about the love of people in general. And there is a General in this movie that makes me cry each time I see the ending! If you have never watched this movie, please watch it today!

I first saw this movie when I was 9 years old. After that I always wanted to watch it. I am 16 now and still think it is the best Christmas movie ever. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys music, humor, dancing, and singing.

One of of the best movies for Christmas. Excellent stars. Great to watch when wrapping and baking. Danny Kaye reminds me of "Kramer" of Seinfeld. So many of the movements and crazy ways of this lengendary movies star are seen in this movie. My favorite part is where they are singing the song "SNOW" on the train when Danny Kaye has given the tickets to the girls that were his and Bing's. Love it, Love it, Love it. Cecil

This is by far the best Christmas movie I've ever seen. It's become a tradition in our family to watch it after Thanksgiving dinner. The actors are incredibly talented and the music is wonderful too.

White Christmas has all the elements necessary to make it a smash musical. With the likes of Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen, how could it miss?
The music of Irving Berlin set to great dance numbers/choreography and costumes carry the movie. The story falls short of a thickening story line.
A little shmaltz at the end, when the dance team of "Wallace and Davis" team up with the "Haynes Sisters" to the give the ole General a Christmas he will never forget gives the movie all the heart necessary to make it "worth the wait"Was this review helpful? Yes - No
