Cons: features dont work. price. poor service.
I bought a whirlpool washer mod# : WTW6400SW1 Jan 14th 2007. The washer has a fault code of F-51 and has been unusable since March 6th. My parts were to be shipped next day air on March 9th.Today is March 12th and I have come to learn the parts have just now been ordered. This will be the third appointment made to fix my washing machine through A&E factory service. I needed a lower wiring harness and a rps sensor(rotary position sensor). The tech told me there are some units out there with bad wiring harnesses. I had Two GE washers before this one and they leaked. I thought I was getting the better product with Whirlpool cabrio series Boy was I wrong, and their authorized service company is horrible. Too bad because if this product was reliable, or could have been fixed in a timely manner I would have rated it very high. ...

We had a Whirlpool washer and dryer set for over 15 years with minor issues. That was the driver for deciding to stay with the same brand. I did my research first and thought I had been thorough. In October we purchased the new set. Now two months later we are having problem with the washer. It continues to display the "LF" error code, I've read the user guide and followed the instructions to no avail. I've just called but have to wait until 1/7 for service.
