    Pros: quiet

Cons: Broke twice in 1.5 years.

Quiet washer & dryer, but they have broken twice in 18 months. First the control panel on the washer broke within 6-9 months, but luckily it was covered under the warranty. Now the dryer broke -- the "wire harness". Past the warranty covera...ge, so it apparently costs $350 to fix (w/labor). Last time I had them fix it, they sent just one guy who needed my poor wife to help lift it & set it on the ground -- and they left a huge scratch on my new hardwood floor. They never paid for that one.. I thought Whirlpool was top-of-the-line, but I would rather have a old loud washer & dryer than one that breaks on average of every 9 months.. Perhaps I've been unlucky (on *both* the washer & dryer) -- but if you do buy one of these, check out the extended warranty. Read more Less
