    Pros: Versatile controls

    Cons: No recall of dangerous product

    After two years the plastic washer tub failed leaking water on the electric parts in the machine and onto the floor, creating an electrocution hazard. Whirlpool will replace the part only with a redesigned part. The repair will cost me $300.

    Upon contacting the factory I discovered that the company has redesigned the part due to defects in design/construction, but they have not recalled the machine.
