Pros: everything ( Including Adam L's Great voice and look!)

Cons: Nothing Really...except they're missing John Nolan but I am sure they'll do execellent without him.

I have loved this band ever since they started. Their lyrics are so deep. But those were mostly John Nolan's work. Some people might say that their lyrics may need alittle more work and I think that is partially true. They are not as deep and per...fect as the first album 'Tell All Your Friends' but why complain so much? I still think that they got it. I advise anyone who likes music to go out and buy this great record. Taking Back Sunday rocks! Read more Less

Not as good as the last one

Pros: Better than most albums out right now

Cons: Not as raw as the previous album

Taking Back Sunday's latest album is a pale comparison to their previous work. Although the product as a whole was not bad, I wouldn't say it was great or even good. The raw emotion in the music and lyrics just were not there and this album... sounds as if it was tweaked a bit too much in post-production. But still, this is an album I'd listen to and I'm sure I grow to like it the more I listen to it. Like I stated, there are worse albums out there right now. Read more Less

    Great album...

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 8, 2004 | 1 out of 1 found this Where You Want To Be review helpful

Pros: Music is more polished but still has same energy...

Cons: Only 11 songs - would like to have more than 35 minutes of music...

Great album! Every bit as good as the first one, if not better. The guys sound very polished and more organized. Still has the same back and forth "duet" lyrics as the first album which is actually very creative and adds an element to their... music that you don't get from any other band that I can think of - besides maybe U2. I love these guys and I seen them in concert twice in the last 3 months. I'm hoping they make their way back through Virginia during their fall tour. Read more Less

    Pros: Awesome songs

    Cons: No John Nolan

This is a great emo album...Rolling Stone said it was the greatest one ever. I contend that their first album was. But this has a ton of awesome songs. There's a few I don't care for too much, but for the most part this is emo perfected.

    A great overall album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 1, 2004

Pros: great lyrics with lots of memorable lines; 5 band members makes for very exciting and creative music

Cons: it took me 2 good listens before i began to like it, the first time i shrugged it off as nothing. But now I'm officially hooked.

Heres the short version, buy this CD and listen to it a couple times before deciding if u like it, maybe once a day. Once you start to pick up on the words and feelings of the songs you'll find yourself in love with the CD.The lead singer has a ...knack for writting great lyrics that stick with you and just sound great. The two guitarists come up with some great sounding riffs that are all very different from moshy songs, a couple solid rocks songs, the amazing "Decade Under the Influence", to the acoustic song "American Classic." You really just have to listen to it to understand. Oh ya, check out their old CD, "Tell All Your Friends" too. Its awesome. Read more Less
