A good disc. The first 2 songs are the best. They'll probably be a OHW band though.

    Harvey Danger's #1 Fan

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 12, 2001

This is the best CD in the entire world. It features four of the most talented & intelligent guys on this earth. I think it's very hard to tell that this CD was comprised on a very tight budget because it sounds so good! If you haven't heard of Ha...rvey Danger, then let me tell you, it's not at all like all the other garage bands out there. These guys have real talent, and their lyrics actually mean something. It was fun for me to discover the underlying messages in their songs. I have been a fan since 1997, and I'm so glad that there are other fans out there that have been blessed with the music of the greatest band ever, Harvey Danger. ROCK ON GUYS!!! Read more Less

bst dsc '99, bst nw bnd scnce Nirvana

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 5, 1999

i've been in to punk\alternitive since '76, listening to patti smith, ramones, sex pistols, iggy pop, talking heads, etc.. in the halls of my high school. There were three of us that were into this new kind of music. Fun fresh and edgey, it through ...the conventional wisdom that to be popular music had to be cool(pompous right out the window. Punk music was for the nerds, the geeks, all of us who didn't fit into what was then considred hip(rock and disco). By the early eighties slick record producers took over the industry and homoginized punk and it became new wave(in the 70's even devo and b-52's were considered punk). In the 90's nirvana rescued us from the boring un-inspired quagmire that alternative music had become. hd is here to do that again. Each track is original and packed with sublime creativity. From the opening track "carlotta valdez", a homage to alfred hitchcok's "vertigo" the psycho twister "flagpole sitta" through to the last tracks "wrecking ball" and "radio silence" each track is quirky, driven and tight. Off-beat, intelligently written angst filled lyrics, make us laugh, think or shake our fist at the world. I mean what else do you need in a disc. Trust me this disc f@#*ing rocks.Tavis Macteague Read more Less

    All around great performance

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 19, 1999

This CD has it all from driving fast songs like Carlotta Valdez; Flagpoll Sitta; and Wooly Muffler. To slower, more ballad type songs like Wrecking Ball; Radio Silence; and Problems and Bigger Ones. And if you're looking for unique lyrics look no fu...rther. Here's a sample: "Just enough knowledge to konw I don't know anything." "Nobody likes what I like, that's how I like it." "I think that I liked you better when you just ingnored me." And they go on and on and on. BUY this album! Read more Less
