    Go rest High was played at my brothers funeral. He went away a year ago Nov. 30,2001 after a tragic car accident. He was 19. I am 37. I have always loved Vince Gills music.When they played that song it had so much meaning.The words to that song seeme...d to be written for him. Since his death I have only heard Go Rest High twice. I still am very touched by the song. It makes me remember how much I love and miss him. It also makes me realize what a special person Vince Gill must truely be.Thank you, Teresa Read more Less

    The song "Go rest high on that mountain" I had played at my son's funeral. He committed suicide and this song was perfect for the occasion. Everyone at the funeral was asking for the name of the cd so they could by one. This song br...oke my heart, but was perfect under the circumstances. Read more Less

    Good, but not his best.

    Musically, the CD is well-rounded. However, after a strong start it falls flat and many of the songs become predictible in the middle of it. We hate to give this such a low rating because it has one of Vince's best songs 'Go Rest High On That Mount...ain.' But we recommed this one for hard-core Vince Gill fans only. Read more Less
