This is the album that got me hooked on Diana Krall. She is a jazz legend in her own time. One only has to look at her tour schedule to realize that she's appreciated internationally. Her back-up musician are great. Her voice is clear and has body. She is also unusual in that she enunciates the lyrics so well. You can actually hear every word of the song. AAhh, music and lyrics...both make a song. And can she play the piano! We had the opportunity to see her in person. The crowd was wowed. Fine talents are rare. I liked this album and "All for You" better than "Love Scenes". Another voice to give a listen to is Jane Monheit. She's still improving. Her voice is sweet and clear.

I enjoy all her songs so this was a welcome CD. I hope to buy all her CD's eventually. She has a soothing voice. I am glad that I heard her awhile back and now I am an avid fan.

Her music not only opens your ears, but opens your heart and spirit. With every breath she takes and with every note that dances out of her mouth, a sense of peace and calm rushes over the soul. Her melodies accompanied by her exceptional piano playing and singing makes each song come to life with a vibrance only jazz legends have given us. If you enjoy jazz and a strong voice full of feeling, i recommend this CD to you.

I was fliping through the channels one Friday night when I came upon something that demanded my undivided attention. It was this beutiful woman playing the piano. She was singing. She was not just singing, she was in a sense making love to the mic with the sound of her voice. The song that flowed from her lips was "I've got you under my skin". And I've got her voice under mine. This creation of sound has put me in such a utopian bliss that I am unable to get that voice out of my head.
Only one word can describe this work of art...

After just one listen this album started to grow on me. Diana Krall's voice is beautiful, and the close-miked production makes the music very personal and seductive. The musicianship and recording quality are both outstanding.

Beautifully arranged and sung old standards. First time I heard her I was reminded of Carmen McRae but without the edge. Great to relax with or reminisce.

Ms. Krall is an extremely beautiful woman, and her voice suits her. These are not risky interpretations of these standards, but the emotive quality of her voice make them seem fresh.

Silky smooth vocals with a touch of honey and scotch. Diane Krall, is seductively sweet and her style is smooth. One song "When I look into your eyes" is a contemplative song of romanticism with a touch of Bogart era. If you wanted to do Humphrey Bogart style movies in the 90s this is a great soundtrack to start.
