    Restless Heart : Wheels - Best Country Album 1986

    Pros: Wheels, The Boys On A Roll, That Rock Won't Roll, I'll Still Be Loving You

    Cons: No longer available in most stores

    When Wheels was released in 1986, I played that cassette until it wore out completely. I had to replace it more times than I can count. With their debut album, Wheels, Big Dreams In A Smalltown, and Fast Movin' Train, Restless Heart became one of... my all-time favorite bands. When I saw them in concert last year, they sounded like they had never broken up. Hopefully they will have a new label and a new release very soon. The best tracks on Wheels are: Wheels, That Rock Won't Roll, Why Does It Have To Be (Wrong or Right), I'll Still Be Loving You, The Boy's On A Roll, Hard Times, and We Owned This Town.     The guys found their niche with this project. Big, overpowering sound, heavy backbeats, and very tight harmonies are here. In contrast, the ballads "I'll Still Be Loving You" and "New York (Hold Her Tight)" are incredibly sensitive.
