    What Women Want

    Pros: Very good movie

    Cons: no cons

I like most of Mel Gibsons movies and also Helen Hunts. This was a good chick flick. LOL It makes you wish you could here what other people are thinking too.

This movie is funny with a hint of romance in with it. Husbands and wives are so thrilled with it, and so are young couples too! I assure you that this is a movie you have got to see!

    what woman want? Who cares

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 11, 2003

The usual self indulging feminist drival worse than bad. Trivial to excess. What woman want is money and to appease their vanity. Period

    Dissapointing. Very Dissapointing.

I have wanted to watch this film for a really long time, and when I finally did, the only thing I had to sayabout it in the end is: WAHHH?!?!
There is one funny scene in this movie and all the rest is junk. The ending is weird and feels unfinished, and there are hardly any jokes. It is still somehow a bit fun to watch, but I hardly laughed while watching it. Sometimes I even trie dto make myself laugh so that I won't feel afterwards it was a COMPLETE waste of time (and money).
In conclusion, buy a different film. Definitely.

What if you can know what women think, feel and want?. That would certainly make it easier for a modern day woman. Mel and the gift of knowing what women want join forces to bring you What Women Want. It is a very funny and Romantic Comedy. If your looking to change your man get them to see this movie.

Hunt and Gibson both gave excellent performances. Supporting cast could have been improved. Overall a good movie to own.

    great romantic comedy

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 27, 2001 | 1 out of 1 found this What Women Want (2000) review helpful

this is a highly entertaining movie that you'll never forget. Mel Gibson is supremely gorgeous and made a great performance all around. The supporting cast is also solid, Marisa Tomei is the standout among all of them who was funny in her role. When I saw this movie, I could not even hear some of the dialogue with all the laughter around me. Just fun film and makes you think about, "what ifs?", in men-women relationships.

    Excellent Movie

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 22, 2001

Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt are a great team . This comedy was one of the best I have ever seen. It was light and very funny. And it is worth the 19.90 ore the 22.50

One of the best comedy romances, ever!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 15, 2001

This movie was awesome, a real treat for the movie goer. I'm not sure if I liked the all male, chauvanistic mel Gibson or the Turbo Bitch Helen Hunt more. But the best part of the movie was finding out that neither of the above mentioned characters were as they seemed. I especially liked Mel Gibson in his dance number.

    Must See!!!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 11, 2001

I thought this movie was hilarious! Two great actors in a great movie. I've seen it twice in the theater and can't wait to buy it. I don't see how someone could think this was boring. It's a good movie to bring your loved one to, and from what I've heard some of the things in this movie are what women think about. I don't know anyone who has seen this movie that didn't like it. I recommend it!

It goes on far too long!!!!

A good film, but does drag on a bit. Mel Gibson is quite funny, but i don't think that a dad would act like that!

    Great Movie

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 21, 2000

I liked this movie. I thought it was great. AS for what angrybob69 said that is not what i thought. But what I have noticed is that guys don't like it and girls do. It also is not what you would expect. I thought it would have been alot more funnier than it was. But it was still a great movie. Helen and Mel worked great together in the movie.

    Mel...What were you thinking???

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 18, 2000

I thought the idea of this movie was great!!!Imagine if us men could have the ability to read girls' minds. The movie starts off really good. There are a few comedic scenes that make me think that the whole movie will be as funny as hell, but to my surprise I found my butt hurting in the theatre & hoping the movie would end soon. After the first half hour, the movie slowed down way too much, and the more I had to look at Helen Hunt, the more ugly she got. The movie became "off-track", and I found myself wondering what happened to his ability to read the girls' minds. Once he lost his ability to read minds, I became disinterested in the rest of the movie, and I could have cared less if Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson ended up together at all. The movie was an 1 1/2 hours of meaningless B.S., except for the first half hour, like I said...I give the movie 2 stars. One star because I liked Mel Gibson in The Patriot, and the 2nd star because I had a great time that same weekend I saw the movie with my friends. Nuff said!
