    What a criminally underated talent. Shara has a golden voice, and 'Inside Out', on this album, is one of her greatest tracks. Album versions of 'Uptight' and 'Down That Road' are very different from the radio edits more commonly heard, and the latter... particularly is excellant. 'Nobody' and 'One Goodbye' are real feminist anthems. If you're into Shara, get the 'Presence' album on which she sings 'No Matter' and the superb 'Sense of Danger'. It's fair to say that Shara's exquisite voice has at times been wasted on rather average songs, and sadly this is the case towards the end of 'What Silence Knows', but there are enough classics here to make it a brilliant late night wind-down record.
