Changing my hard drive from one mother bord to other is not fun. My hard drive is not recognized by the BIOS.

I've had my WD drive for more than a year now and have never had any problems with it. I am looking to buy a second one. I highly recommend this product!!!!

I have always been a WD fan until this drive was made.
I bought a Dell 8200 2.2Ghz that came with this drive. After 3 months it crashed, after the aggravation of losing everything Dell gave me another 40Gig WD 7200 drive. Again after about 3 months the SECOND drive crashed.
Dell said that they have had a lot of complaints about this 40 Gig 7200 rpm drive and send other non-WD drives out for replacments. I am extremely disapointed in this WD 40 Gig 7200 rpm drive product AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoWestern Digital Hard drive
This hard drive is excellent. I've filled the hard drive with all sorts of mp3's, music videos, dvds and important documents and it runs just as fast as my friends scsi. Ive even had a virus on the hard drive but I got rid of it without formatting the hard drive and it still runs excellent. Some of the reliability maybe due to Windows XP pro.

that hard disk came with my Dell Workstation, i bought it last year .. and hooreey my hard disk full of errors and damages .. it's pretty weak product i wouln't recommend it
