Synopsis: Went to Coney Island on a Mission From God...Be Back by Five (2000)

Two lifelong friends embark on a journey to find a long-lost childhood buddy who apparently has gone insane and is hiding out in Coney Island's decaying amusement park. Along the way the two encounter some oddball characters and discover some truths about their own lives.

    This movie's title suggests a cutting edge independent film. At its core, though, it's all soft and gushy. At times, I'm reminded of STAND BY ME or some other coming-of-age movie (like the world needs another one of those.). But, it has its individ...ual (funny, mostly) moments. Read more Less
