The vice and con games in Creede were dominated by the infamous Bob Ford, slayer of Jesse James. Leavened with humor and rollicking fun, Creede is also a hot spot for armed force and violence, especially as Bob Ford has no intention of surrendering anything to the newcomer, "Soapy" Smith. James David Buchanan grew up in Birmingham, Michigan. He has had five novels published, four of them in Great Britain and three in German, French, and Italian. He has worked as a jazz musician, a stage hand, television director, Hollywood studio tour guide, casting director, schoolteacher, television producer, screenwriter and novelist. |
