CREED has put out another CD that is as good as My Own Prison if not better. There is a great variety of songs from harder edged to softer songs such as Lullaby. This CD shows why CREED is the best rock band to come in the last 5 years. On Stand H...ere With Me, Mark finally unleashes on a solo that shows that he is one of the best guitarist in modern rock. Creed

This new album from Creed is by far their best album (not that the other 2 were bad, they were great), but they have really found their groove as a band. Scott is a great song-writer and Mark is one hell of a guitarist. One comment I do have to make ...tho, is that a couple tracks have a Led Zep kind of sound. almost sounds like a Cashmere "sample" or rip-off on "My Sacrifice." Other than that, this album is a "desert island disc" - i bought the LP this past Saturday, and it has not left the CD player in my car yet. I can just listen to it over and over and over. I think that "Weathered" "Hide" and "Who's Got My Back" are the best tracks on the LP. It's great to see them comfortable enough as artists to do some experimenting on "Who's Got My Back," and the background vocals Scott's sister provides on "Don't Stop Dancing" are great. She's got a nice voice, could probably do a record of her own. (not sure how many people know, but her background vocals originally were to be done by Faith Hill b4 she got pregnant). There's a track that you download on Grokster called "Young Grow Old" that was supposed to be on the album, but must have gotten cut. it's also a cool track, y'all should check it out. first off, anyone who says "creed suck, go listen to tool" needs a brain transplant. creed have way more soul than tool, and much more intuitive lyrics. also, well, creed are just better songwriters, it has to be said. this album could have... been more like metal....bullets is actually a metal track. i think i would have liked that more really.one last breath, while a lot of people will say its too much like pop....its nothing like pop. purely a rock song, and a very well written one too. good peaceful tremonti riff at the start. if you think all that creed are is a pearl jam rip off with no originality, you either have not sat down and really listened to it, or just know nothing about music. I loved 'human clay' and when this album came out I bought it on the first day. I was a little dissapointed because 'human clay' was so brilliant this was a step down for the band...but that doesn't make the album any less amazing... than it is. All of these songs are very good. They hav a bunch of spirit. If u are depressed it can lift u up and i like that. It is good that there are sum artists that can put out non gruesome non hatred music. I'm not dissin that kinda music cuz i listen 2 al...ot of it (Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Manson etc). But it can git old. Good easy listinin... Read more Less

I'm more into hard rock and metal but Creed is one of the only good alternative bands...This is an awesome cd so buy it!
