    Pros: Remastered sound

    Cons: Not really the best of, but a good introduction...

    This is a great entry-level purchase for anyone curious about one of the most influential bands of the late 80's/early 90's. If this is your first Pixies purchase and like this compilation, you will really enjoy the full studio collection by ...this wonderfully original sounding group. I'm looking forward to the release of the new studio album due sometime this year. Read more Less

    Pros: great selections, nice length, classic alternative

    Cons: liner notes are bare bones

    This is a good collection of songs from one of the influential alternative bands of the 80's and early 90's. Cuts like "Debaser," "Here Comes Your Man" and "Velouria" all on one disc is a pleasure to own. Unfor...tunately, the liner notes don't include a band history, only a discography. A good buy, in my opinion, nonetheless. Read more Less
