    Definetly a good movie for apocolypse movie lovers, and although it is on a simple set with little actual effects, you get the feeling a world where the polar ice caps have melted. Genuine feelings are shown and felt watching this movie, and it will... hold a place in my DVD collection.If you liked the postman, you'll love Waterworld. Read more Less

    Kevin Costner really came out of his shell in this movie. Good Acting , great action, fresh story line make this movie one of Costners best works (Sadly). Slows down during the middle but heats up in the beginning and the End.It was worth 10 bucks at... a New York Theater.But I wouldnt watch it again Read more Less

    before you spend 20 dollars on this dvd, checkit out on vhs through rental. I have seen itover 47 times (mainly because in the summer i get bored) but it is really cool. Great suspence, visuals, score, effects all features of a all around great mov...ie. so check it out for yourself before you let someone else decide for you! Read more Less

    I don't understand why this movie flopped in the theater. I've seen it about 12 times and absolutely love it.     You need to consider what it took to make this film. Most folks didn't know that it took quite a number of people working 24/7 to build the largest man-made free floating structure ever! The biggest reason for cost overruns...... it's location.
