Formed in 2003, the Baltimore, MD, ensemble Water School make melodic rock in the tradition of Big Star and Neil Young. Based around the songwriting team of vocalist/guitarist Chris Myers and vocalist/guitarist Mike Gittings, the fourpiece also features bassist Eric Hopkins and drummer Matt Scoggins. The band released its debut album, Break Up With Water School, in 2004.
