    Pros: Virtuoso vocalist

    Cons: Themes a little too "new age"

    I first heard this album on vinyl in 1981 and fell in love with her voice. This is one of the best albums to fall asleep listening to, especially if you want pleasant dreams. While the songs are each distinctly identifiable, they flow into each other... wonderfully, almost operatically. The CD keeps most of the high-end audio intact, but loses some of the LPs depth and tonality. Still, this is an all-time classic too few have been blessed with hearing. Think of "Cross of Changes" by Enigma, only by a high-soprano singer. Read more Less

The sister of both Terry and Michael "Tubular Bells" Oldfield, Sally Oldfield got her musical career started by appearing on several of Michael's projects in the '70s.
