American actor Warren Douglas had a few seasons of stage work to his credit when he inked a Warner Bros. contract in 1943. Douglas was afforded leading roles in such quickies as Adventure in Iraq (1943) and the 49-minute Murder on the Waterfront, but had to make do with walk-ons in the studio's "A"-picture product. In 1946 he moved to Republic, where the size of his roles improved but the quality of his films did not.
