This outstanding four-disc collection perfectly represents Warner Bros.' contributions to movie music over their 75-year history. The first disc features instrumental scoring, showcasing the subtleties of this unique art, while the second and third discs feature songs from movies up to the early '70s. It is only on the third disc that the true magic starts to falter and the art form becomes more of a hit-making proposition. But in this way the package represents the arc of film making over the last century.
