This F1 game from Microids features four different modes of play to offer an enjoyable racing experience to gamers of varying tastes. The title's Extended Simulation mode is realistic and unforgiving, challenging the player to deal with the real-world considerations of efficiently controlling an Indy Car at extreme speeds while mixing it up with opponent vehicles driven by competitive artificial intelligence. The Arcade Mode, on the other hand, favors fast action over complex strategy, challenging the player to pass as many other cars as possible in order to move on to the next level. The game's Simplified Simulation mode features a relaxed physics model like the Arcade Mode, but still serves up skilled, competitive opponents on the track. Virtual racers who prefer to compete against other human players (or against themselves) can try the game's ghost mode, in which previous races are stored in a downloadable, tradable format and can then be loaded into a new game, allowing players to share their best runs with others. ~ All Game Guide
