Based on the novel by Herman Wouk, this Emmy Award-winning miniseries continues the sweeping saga that began with 1983's THE WINDS OF WAR. Meanwhile, the stories of Natalie's imperiled family--Dr. Aaron Jastrow (John Houseman) in Germany and Aaron Jastrow (Topol) in the Soviet Union--offer a wider perspective of the war as well as the Holocaust. Equal parts action, romance, and tragedy, WAR AND REMEMBRANCE was one of the biggest television productions of its time, with a budget of 120 million dollars and a running time of over 25 hours.
