    underrated poison idea

    Pros: perfect blend of hardcore/punk, thrash metal and rock

    Cons: original label went belly up

    completely overlooked gem here. everything Poison Idea released before their last 2 official LP's (Blank Blackout Vacant & We Must Burn) is essential. a lot of fans easily slag on this, being it's not by the rule book hardcore/punk, adding in... a lot of influence from thrash metal especially. the album still maintains unwavering dedication to speed, power and unfashionable rawness by all means. if you're too punk rock to enjoy a few guitar solos then perhaps you might want to stick to your guns, but if you can handle your raw power with some talent and tightness than this is a must have. many PI fans i've come across look at me cross eyed when i mention this album, for me it was my first introduction to Poison Idea. and it was so good i bought everything else.
