I remember watching this movie for the first time while in college studying Finance and markets. It was then, and still is, an eyeopener of a movie with regards to the potential pitfalls awaiting unhealthy market behavour..........

Another Stone-d smash. Douglas, Sheen (Gotti forgive me), and a superb supporting cast make The Market T.H.E. place to be --- eaten alive. Not even Darryl "The Female Mathew Broderick" Hannah brings down this high finance tour de force. (Having sold for more than 1500 times earnings per share,) this wide-eyed commodities maggotdontwannabe says: YAHOO!

I can't believe that nobody has written a review for this movie!!! This is an awesome movie... a total classic... Douglas and Sheen are amazing and really build the characters of the movie... you are immediately drawn in... the story is great and it reflects a clear and strong message about greed in society... even if you're not into the whole Wall Street and stock market thing you'll still enjoy it... if you're in the finance industry this movie is a must!
