    Pros: Best Performance Ever of Johnny Cash

    Cons: No Oscar Awarded to Mr. Phoenix, Very Sad

    J.Phoenix was the best actor to portray Johnny Cash that I have ever seen. I grew up with the sound and appearence of Johnny Cash and could not believe the uncanny likeness in appearance and vocal presentation by Mr. Phoenix. To me the acadamy made a... big mistake in not selecting him for the Oscar this year. I truly hope there will be a sequal to this movie "Walk the Line II" In order to give the Oscar to Mr. Phoenix, that he so well deserves. Read more Less

    Pros: Incredible acting, good music

    Cons: Should've been nominated for Best Picture

    I wasn't even a fan of Johnny Cash's music when I went to see this movie. But after seeing this, I can now at least respect where he came from and what inspired him to write and sing the way he did. A real-life love story between two best fri...ends. How incredible for their son, John Carter Cash, to have this awesome movie to chronical his parents story. Read more Less
