Soviet filmmaker Vladimir Grammatikov specializes in children's and youth-oriented films and has spent most of his career at the Central Studio of Films for Children and Youth (aka Gorky Film Studio) in Moscow. Grammatikov started out as an actor at the Young Spectator's Theater. He subsequently worked as a director and choreographer at the Stanislavsky Drama Theater and Obraztsov Puppet Theater in Moscow.
