    Pros: price, ease of set-up, custom settings

    Cons: tweaking settings

    Bought this TV at Sears and ended up spending less that $1060 out the door after rebate. My first venture into LCD and it is great! Friend of mine has the much more expensive Samsung...picture quality is different, but then again, my friend has digit...al cable and I do not (yet). CNET review, in my opinion, is an underestimate of the performance. As a non-techie...this works great for me. Customized the settings which seems to help the "true black", but this is the only weakness I've found. Didn't by it for the sound, but it sure is a heck of a step up from my old TV! Perhaps the true techie will not be happy, but for us regular folk, it is a great deal and product. Read more Less

    Pros: Great value for the money

    Cons: Remote will not operate my Coby VCR even though it accepts the code.

    After much research, I settled on Vizio after reading a report in PCWorld magazine. The picture quality it very good, and the anti-glare is exceptional; my Vizio faces three windows with a lot of sunlight coming in, and this has no effect the picture.... This 1080p cost only $1050 after instant rebates. I highly recommend it. Read more Less
