    DO NOT BUY A VIKING RANGE

    Pros: LOOKS PRETTY

    Cons: VIKING KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT BUILDING A GOOD RANGE

    We have had our Viking 36" Duel Fuel range for about 6 years and during that period we have had 31 service calls. After 6 years and 31 service calls, we have found that we still do not have a range that works. Please do not waste your time or yo...ur money on Viking Appliances. They are absolutely the worst we have ever owned (we are custom home builders too). To make matters even worse, 4 of the service calls in the past year were to replace the same part. Finally, our system works a little but only through a jerry-rigging of the electrical panel which was approved by Viking. Save your money and ease your headaches, buy something other than Viking.     2 Bad Stoves

    Pros: Looks nice

    Cons: Worse than our Ferrari for Maintenance Needs

    We own two homes and both have Viking appliances. This stove has been replaced TWICE in our second home (we visit there less than 3 weeks/yr). The Customer Service at Viking has been awful (rude and accusatory). The product cooks very inconsistently,... yet is scratch prone like nothing we've ever seen. Our Ferrari is a close tie for maintenance but at least that is something we can actually enjoy when it's running properly! Read more Less
