Alternative pop/rock band Viciana was formed in the late '90s by singer/songwriter Julio Viciana. The Spanish indie rock foursome came in first place after participating in a popular contest, called Rock Villa de Madrid in 1999. They later toured Madrid's club circuit. In 2001, Viciana self-produced their debut album.
