    Hello At all the Fans of this great Artist,Music and great band "Dio".I am very Happy Yeah........"I have "The very best of Dio", "Killing The Dragon"and really when i listen this material I feel the Metal in my Spi...rit.The sound its very powerfull.Its a Great Album "You have to buy it".Of corse "The Original Material"but its the suport of all the fans of "Dio".My congratulations at "all The band Really the sound its pure power and Steel in all the lines.I wait buy it and have the new material "Master Of The Moon".Its a great material dont forget buy it.And Ronny Thanks for your very heavy and wonderfull Music.     Awesome album with all his hits like Holy Diver, We Rock, Dream Evil, and Last In Line. They were also influtential on hair bands like Motley Crue and Def Leppard.

    Classic Metal, ripped off by hair bands.

    I just got this to round out my metal collection and didnt remember how influential Dio is on other bands, in other words a lot of bands ripped off DIO,Def Leppard,and Iron Maiden after they popularized metal in the early 80's. "we rock", "stand up a...nd shout"(a true icon of modern metal)"straight through the heart" (another classic) "last in line" awesome transition.let me say that Vinny Appice and Jimmy Bain totally rule. listen to "holy diver or "stand up and shout" very loud with the bass up. wow. DIos lyrics are OK but anyone with a rhyming dictionary can do that, but his vocal reach makes up for it. hes a phenom.I cant give this 5 stars because "rock and roll children " and "hungry for heaven" are lame songs that sound the same as "mystery" , any 15 year old can write songs that clone each other like this.I guess most metal bands have only 2 good albums, unless you are Iron Maiden.     A very good compilation of classic Dio, especially the live version of "Man on the Silver Mountain." It was short of a five simply because it did not contain "Egypt: The Chains Are On" or "Invisible," two of my favorites. But it is still an excell...ent compilation. Buy it!! Read more Less

    RJ Dio in my mind is the best musician of all time. This album has a dangerous mixture or a piercing voice and killer guitar riffs. Go out and buy this album "My Rock and Roll Children!" I hope that Dio hasn't severed his roots with the new album ..."Magica". Read more Less

    Dio Bringing Back The Best of Metal

    While many hard rock/heavy metal bands continued to transform from the dark black metal to the glamour 80's metal that made it mainstream, Dio has mantained to stay within their roots and continue to impress hard rock enthusiast of today. I was a bi...t surprised to see some tracks left off this release, but you can't put a greatest hits CD and satisfy everyone. Some of the most obvious choices that made this release (Holy Diver, Last In Line, Stand Up and Shout) make this a treasure in any Metal fan's music library. Others that were not included (Sacred Heart, All The Fools Sailed Away) could have put this a truly "The Very Best of Dio". Read more Less
