Pros: None
Cons: Everything
Everything from the hairstyles to the music choices were horrible.
This film had no originality whatsoever. It knocked off Braveheart in every way imageinable. The writing was piss poor and I even found many flaws, the soundtrack was awful. This film is so cheesy I could have sworn it was independant. The fight scenes are highly unrealistic. This movie is so slow and tedious and everything about it just seems forced. Avoid at all costs, watch Braveheart again.
This movie was well directed. Lambert's character is very realistic. If you look for action, then you look for Druids.
This was the best movie christopher lambert has ever starred. It was similar to Braveheart. Don't waste your time by watching "Spy Game" or "Bandits" as I did. Look for something real, lool for DRUIDS!
Torturously slow, confusing story about the
Gauls in the first century B.C., with Christopher Lambert dragging himself (and everyone else) through it. Poor Max von Sydow, with a character like Sean Connery's in "Highlander," looked very uncomfortable -- he must have been paying off a poker debt. Klaus-Maria Brandauer? His career was never the same after another Connery film, "Never Say Never." Why did they make this? Surely, it wasn't made with making money in mind? Don't look for any mention of this film at the Oscars.
This Movie was a fair and accurate picture depicting the Gaulish Celts. From Outfits, weaponry, to customs and instruments. Someone did their homework well!
The plot was fair, and there wasnt much to do with the Druids, except for their role of guidence to the King.
If your a history buff, or ye dig Celtic fashion than this movie is inspiring, If on the other hand you are looking for a movie on Druids, this is NOT it. But all round id watch it again, maybe even purchase it. What do you have to loose in renting it?

Well here we are again, another forgettable Christopher "There Can Be Only One" Lambert flick, but who's that other name on the credit list? Why, it's veteran actor Max Von Sydow! What the HELL is he doing in this B movie? It must be the magical power of Lambert's megabrow. He's done it before: pulling poor, unsuspecting Sean Connery into Highlander, derailing his entire career until he got to feel up Catherine Zeta Jones in Haute Voltage. What is it with this guy? Will there be The Druids: The Quickening, in which Sydow is again duped into this dreck? Pray to Yahweh there is not.
