OK guys..I just received my new sub and hooked everything up using the LFE connector. I have a very ample JVC 810 digital Dolby receiver and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. Like every other sub in this price range, you still have to turn... the sub volume to 85 or 95% max to get good sub sound with movies or music. I made sure my receiver was pushing out at max signal so the sub had all it could get from the receiver. Still, I had to push the sub to its limits to get good full bass sound. My previous sub from another maker was the same way. Am I a bass hog??...I don’t know.... but, why don’t they make a sub that sounds really loud at 50% and allow you to have some leverage either way with the volume control. I have to say that it does sound good and deep at max volume levels but again no room for play...I will keep it but I cant say that I am all that impressed. Read more Less
