The bouncy, skainfluenced pop band Valvomo are best known for the single "Mika Kesa" (What a Summer), which turned out to be one of Finland's most popular songs in 2006. Comprised of Helsinkibased musicians Seta, TeiSka, Ville, and Markiisi, the band formed in 2005 in a bid to make politically aware music with a pop bent.
