    Pros: easy to read screen

    Cons: no range

    my old 2.4ghz vtech phone died -but had been a very good phone. I could go outside and up to my neighbors house and still talk on the phone. So knowing that - I went to vtech when I needed to buy my replacement. The man at sears was telling how good ...this new 5.4ghz phone was so I bought it. Big mistake. Our house is not that big 1500sq ft. With this new phone I cannot go to either end without losing the person I'm talking too. I have moved the base unit twice and cannot get any better receiption.
