Detroit's Sherard Ingram is one of the few Americans (along with DJ Shadow and Money Mark) to record for Britain's noted trip-hop label, Mo' Wax. An earthy downtempo producer, he debuted his Urban Tribe alias for Carl Craig's Planet E Records by appearing on the 1992 compilations Equinox and Elements of and Experiments with Sound.
