Pros: Stellar beats, pre cash money millionaire era

Even if you don't like cash money, no, even if they make you sick to your stomach, you can still listen to, and appreciate this album. Most beats are on point, and the subject matter gets more personal than todays crappy music. Even "A Pocke...t Full Of Furl", which documents a younger B.G. heroin addiction is very entertaining and thoughtful (for a 15 year old...). The skits are hilarious and anyone who knows who Ziggly Wiggly is can attest to this fact. This is just a great album, a cash money classic that, had it been released today, would have sold a lot of albums. As it is, this was released prior to the Cash Money explosion of the late 90's, but is still better than most of their catalogue, and up there with Juvenile's 400 Degreez and Lil' Wayne's The Carter. If anyone remembers Juvenile's Set It Off from Project English, you'll realize that this Manny Fresh beat actually was first put on this album as a Mystikal Diss (called Drag 'Em In The River), and is much better than the Project English version. Highly entertaining, and listenable from beginning to end, this album has very little filler material, and is a breather from the garbage that gets released nowadays. Read more Less
